Love, I will go where you send me. Deep within, high above I will learn from you, Love I will go. Love, I will hear what you tell me. I will listen for my part And I will sing with all my heart So I can know. That a wind is rushing through Let us see what Love can do. Love, I am human and tender. And so much of my life Is in need of your mending. O Love, I am here to rememember That the broken can heal When we open our lives to Your wonder. As Your wind is rushing through Let us see what Love can do. Love, I will come when you call me. I will swim toward the light I will take up my life when You call. O Love, whatsoever befall me In Your ways I am made In Your ways may I stay Through it all As Your wind is rushing through Let us see what Love can do. Love, I am here as Your witness. Here I grow as a tree As You stand up in me, Here I stand. O Love, I am here now to live this. As a deep breathing part, Love With all of my heart Here I am. As Your wind is rushing through Let us see what Love can do. Love, I will go where you send me. Deep within, high above I will learn from you, Love I will go. Deep within, high above I will learn from you, Love (x3)

Body Mine 06:44
Breathe in and out From first to last Take it all in. Then let it pass. (Chorus) O Body mine Body mine Beautiful Body mine (x2) Sinew and Bone You twist and tie Standing me up Into the sky (chorus) And beating Heart You send me through A thousand miles Then back to You (chorus) Beloved Hands What I like most Is reaching out And holding close (chorus) This Voice that glows To fill these words To sing and speak What can't be heard (chorus/ ooh) Ever You die Ever You grow Forever Here Forever Now (Chorus) You will choose And You will feel And You will lose And You will heal (Chorus) And when it's time You'll let me know You'll breathe Me in And let Me go (Chorus x3)

Cheerios 04:51
I'm leavin' Cheerios on a trail for you So you can find 'em A trail of Cheerios through the woods for you And I hope you find 'em. (Chorus) And who knows how things will go? And who knows where we will meet? And who knows who we will be When you find me? I'm writing stories for you in my mind For you to sing to. There's music going in my head all the time For you to dream through. (chorus) I'm traveling in my sleep with you Where is this coming from? I'm stacking books I wanna read to you Because you feel like home. (Chorus) Cuz music is nice and books are neat too. But that isn't what's pulling on me and on you I just put things in line and I watch how they move. Cuz that's what I do with the things that I love. (Chorus) Cuz hearing you're voice on the phone Makes my ears ring. And walking beside you alone Makes my skin sing. And who knows how things will go? And who knows where we will meet? And who knows who we will be? I guess we'll see. We'll see.

I must admit that I have never really tried it for myself But every time I see it done, I cannot look away. To let a mass of tufty fiber spin itself into a chord Takes quiet in the hands and mind and heart and corners of the day. I hear that linen can be really tough to spin I hear that wool can work like magic Just as long as those who grew it Are still living when they're shorn. That from the time that they are born It grows to knowingly protect them And that Knowing goes when and where they do. (Chorus) Cuz the World is opening and closing She's a spider spinning webs To catch the consciousness That's flying out in all directions And all the ways the is quietly becoming That's the gift that keeps beginning And it wants to keep on going. The ways of spinning and of weaving Are passed down through our relating And the care it takes to make the things that clothe us Holds a magic that protects us Like the wool grows on the sheep There is a love within the fibers And our presence in the spinning keeps it strong. Perhaps the same is true of speaking How this carnival of sounds This drunk debauchery of language Can unite us 'neath the bone. And all the myriad of words Whispered or shouted to the World Are only ways that we remember That we'll never be alone. (Chorus) So now I'm winding up a spool of all the best that I can do And I am taking it into the woods to leave beneath a tree. Until this living life is done and all Beginnings have Begun I get to offer thanks for all the beauty Life has spun for me. (Chorus)

You are so many and so small. I am amazed I have strength to love You all. You've been dreaming in me since I was a baby. As I change, do You change Or remain constantly maybe? (Chorus) Breathe of my breathe And bone of my bone Light of my life And heart of my home. Can all that you'll be fit here with me? I am humbled by your possibility. And all of this life I'm sharing with you Just holds a candle to the joy you're giving me. (Chorus) I may never see your face. But I hold you close within this place. So every You that might come true I sing this Mother song for you. Bone of my bone And heart of my home.

My dog is always first to know When I am starting to let go Of anything I need to keep. He sees my eyes stuck to the ground He feels the weight that pulls me down He hears me sighing in my sleep. But as I'm reachin' for my shoes He jumps right up because he knows the bigger world is calling me. And as we're runnin' up the hill I see his joy, i feel a thrill. Now I remember. Now I see. Hey. I just remembered Something I was so sure I would never forget. With all the losing I do I'm so glad I haven't lost this yet. I cross to yours, you reach for mine. I breathe your bright summer sunshine. You hold my winters in your hands. And will things end as they began? There's only so much we can plan. So much we want to understand. So often, I've pushed you away. Not knowing how to let you stay. Banking my courage on "someday". But I wanna be brave to see what you reflect. Be brave to feel how we connect. Courage happens now. It's the only way. You help me remember Something I was so sure I would never forget. I'm so glad you're in my life And I have not lost you. (Bridge) I nod my head to the places in our hearts That know these things and show these things. Cuz it's not about all the things that got left out But what we bring into the light What's opening when the time is right. So now, I'm singing this to you Cuz singing's what I love to do So maybe something's ringing true. Cuz things are moving fast and far And we're becoming who we are With every little thing we do. And little things will twist and twine And weave your story in with mine. And light can shine from where we grew. And this is all we have to give. And now is all we have to live And that is all we have to do. Yeah. I just rememebered Something I was so sure I would never forget. With all the losing I do, I'm so glad. I'm so glad I haven't lost this yet.

Dindi 02:52
(verses not included) Oh Dindi... If I only had words I would say all the beautiful things that I see When you're with me. oh my Dindi Oh Dindi... Like the song of the wind in the trees That's how my heart is singing Dindi, happy Dindi When you're with me. I love you more each day. Yes I do, o yes I do I'd let you go away If you take me with you. Don't you know Dindi I'd be running and searching for you Like a river that can't find the see That would be me Without you, my Dindi.

O Sun 02:50
You are the sun I am the dew Gifted with life for a moment or two That I for my time May sparkle and shine O Sun, come fill me with you O Sun, come fill me with you You are the wind I am the sail You are my strength and without you I fail Breathe but a sigh And I ll open wide O Wind, come fill me with you O Wind, come fill me with you You are the wine I am the cup I can yield nothing till I am filled up Hold me upright And pour forth your life O Wine, come fill me with you O Wine, come fill me with you O Wine, come fill me O Wind, come fill me O Sun, come fill me With you

I went out to the hazel wood, Because a fire was in my head, And cut and peeled a hazel wand, And hooked a berry to a thread; And when white moths were on the wing, And moth-like stars were flickering out, I dropped the berry in a stream And caught a little silver trout. When I had laid it on the floor I went to blow the fire a-flame, But something rustled on the floor, And someone called me by my name: It had become a glimmering girl With apple blossom in her hair Who called me by my name and ran And faded through the brightening air. Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands; And walk among long dappled grass, And pluck till time and times are done, The silver apples of the moon, The golden apples of the sun.

about

Originally, these were just the master tracks for a forthcoming studio album with more instrumental arrangement and I released them here on Bandcamp and on Spotify as an album with no fanfare or promotion at all. But turned out that the stripped down instrument and vocals were what the songs and my fans and community needed to hear - especially in the midst of Covid - and the album's loving reception has bloomed before my eyes and to my amazement. And I am grateful.

Deepest thanks to CJ, Alexa, Simon, and Eric for your devoted, savvy work and endearing support of my music and me for this album especially but also in general! Eric, thanks for the rad idea to pre-release this acoustic version! A warm cup of gratitude to my friend Salomae Hill for playing "Al Otro Lado del Rio" to me like the balm of a song that it is at a time when I needed to hear it and learn it myself. Also, thanks to my friends and family whose love, ears, witness and guidance keeps me aligning within and without.
